Romanea I Waterfall






The Romanea Muoy Waterfall is sited in Poutrou Village, Sèn Monorom Commune, Oreang District; 17 km away from the provincial town. It can be reached by path.
There are more than 71 families living in the Romanea Muoy area of 28.37 ha, whose main occupations are farming.
This resort is managed by the Romanea Muoy Waterfall Managerial and Developmental Inter-commune Commission vested by the provincial authority in collaboration with the provincial executive committee. It is partly supported financially by the DANIDA Organization of Denmark.
The resort has its good location which is close to the plantations like rubber, coffee, cashew, mango, avocado, and pres. During the rainy season, the waterfall is 5 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter. During the dry season, the waterfall is 6 meters in height and 8 meters in diameter. At its base, there is a big water reservoir in which tourists can swim happily. Besides, there are many big trees providing cool shade for them.
Its main points of interest are a spectacular waterfall, dramatic mountainous forest, impressive undulating hills, and fresh air.

Romanea II Waterfall




The Romanea Pee (II) Waterfall is located in Pourang Village, Sèn Monorom Commune, Oreang District; 12 km from the provincial town. It can be accessed by the Road No. 76.
There are more than 108 families living in the Romanea Pee area, whose main occupations are farming.
This resort is managed by the Romanea Pee Waterfall Managerial and Developmental Commission vested by the provincial authority in collaboration with the provincial executive committee. It is partly supported financially by the DANIDA Organization of Denmark.
During the rainy season, the waterfall is 3 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter. During the dry season, the waterfall is 4 meters in height and 6 meters in diameter. At its base, there is a big water reservoir in which tourists can swim happily. Besides, there are many big trees providing cool shade for them.
Its main points of interest are a spectacular waterfall, dramatic mountainous forest, impressive undulating hills, and fresh air.

Bousra Waterfall



The Bousra Waterfall is conveniently sited in Village I, Bousra Commune, Péch Chenda District; 38 kilometers from Sèn Monorom. It can be accessed by red soil road.
There are more than 1,058 families living in the Bousra area of 369 ha, whose main occupations are farming.
Around the resort, there are motels, restaurants, souvenir shops, two elevators down to the base of the waterfall, small cable cars, a theme park, and resting huts. The resort is managed by the Sor La Investment Co., Ltd. Under the terms of the contract and location lease for a 90-year period made on November 27, 2008, this company has been vested with an investment of US$ 6 million in the area of over 400 ha by the Royal Government of Cambodia.
The waterfall is one of the most interesting places for keen tourists in all seasons. It is divided into three stages:
First Stage:The waterfall is 15 meters in diameter and 8-12 meters in height during the rainy season and is 10-15 meters in height during the dry season.
Second Stage:The waterfall is 20 meters in diameter and 15-20 meters in height during the rainy season, and it is 13 meters in diameter and 18-25 meters in height during the dry season. The second stage of the waterfall is situated at a distance of 150 meters from the first stage. Tourists have a strong sentimental attachment to the place.
Third Stage:The waterfall has stronger speed than the second stage. This stage can not be reached because of its location in the thick forest and lack of means of transport.

Pu Lung Village



Pu Lung Village is one of the well known tourist attractions in Mondulkiri. It is just an hour’s drive from the main town center. The scenic rustic setting of Pahlung Village, Mondulkiri along with diverse regional culture draws thousands of tourists and travelers.
Pu Lung Village in Mondulkiri is also one of the popular centers of excursion in Cambodia. Travelers can undertake an elephant trekking trip to the village. The village is on the route to the Bousra Waterfalls. The route is wonderful and takes place through winding tracks, sprawling rainforests and idyllic waterfalls. The village is located in the northern part of Senmonorom.
There are various ways to go to Pu Lung Village. Apart from elephant treks, travelers can also hire shuttle cars and taxis to the village. The small village is full of scenic spots. Travelers can have a feel of the local rustic setting in the village. They can see the local huts and houses which are wonderfully designed. The forests which surround the village are also home to different varieties of flora and fauna.
Useful information about traveling to Pu Lung Village, Mondulkiri can be obtained from the tourist office. Various travel agencies also undertake trips to the village. The tour is mostly of a single day or half day. For full day trips, there are provisions for camping in the village.

Monorom Waterfall





The Monorom Waterfall is ideally located in Deum Sral Village, Monorom Commune, Sèn Monorom District; 5 km away from the provincial town. It can be accessed by road. Along both sides of the road, there are industrial plantations like rubber, coffee, and cashew.
There are more than 277 families living in the Monorom area of 108 ha, whose main occupations are farming.This resort is managed by the Monorom Waterfall Managerial Committee vested by the provincial authority in collaboration with the provincial executive committee. It is partly supported financially by the DANIDA Organization of Denmark.
Its main points of interest are a spectacular waterfall, dramatic mountainous forest, and fresh air.
The Monorom Waterfall is also commonly called “Damnak Sdéch Waterfall” as it is located 300-400 m away from the ruins of the Preah Norodom Sihanouk’s pavilion founded between 1960 and 1962. Nowadays, the official name of the waterfall is being discussed by the Tourism Department of Mondul Kiri Province and the board of provincial governors to designate it as “Monorom Waterfall” as it is located in Sèn Monorom District and close to the provincial town.

Phnom Dos Kramom Resort





The Yok Sros Phlom or Phnom Dos Kramom Resort is located in Dos Kramom Village, Sokhdom Commune, Sèn Monorom District; 3 km away from the provincial town. It can be accessed by path.
There are more than 2,092 families living in the Phnom Dos Kramom area of over 100 ha, whose main occupations are farming.
This resort is managed by the Department of Culture and Fine Arts. Its main point of interest is the mountain covered by grass from its foot to its top, which big trees hardly grow on except near valleys and streams. The mountaintop overlooks the beautiful landscape of the provincial town of Mondul Kiri and majestic natural mountainous forest.

Lèng Khin Waterfall




The Lèng Khin Waterfall is located in Pouyam Village, Sèn Monorom Commune, Oreang District; 26 km away from the provincial town. It can be accessed by path.
Around the waterfall, most of the residents do farming. During the rainy season, the waterfall is 22-25 meters in height and 7-10 meters in diameter. During the dry season, the waterfall is 28 meters in height and 8 meters in diameter. It is one of the highest flowing-down waterfalls in the Mondul Kiri province. At its base, there is a big water reservoir in which tourists can swim happily. Besides, there are many big trees providing cool shade for them.
Its main points of interest are a spectacular waterfall, dramatic mountainous forest, impressive undulating hills, and fresh air.
Lèng Khin Waterfall I

Chrey Thom Waterfall


The Chrey Thom Waterfall is situated in Poules and Pouchhob Villages, Dakdam Commune, Oreang District; 20 km away from the provincial town. It can be accessed by the red pebble path.
There are more than 208 families living in the Chrey Thom area of 303.555 ha, whose main occupations are farming.
This resort is managed and conserved by the Ethnic Community Commission vested by the provincial authority in collaboration with the provincial executive committee. It is partly supported financially by the DANIDA Organization of Denmark.
During the rainy season, the waterfall is 11 meters in height and 8 meters in diameter.  During the dry season, the waterfall is 15 meters in height and 2 meters in diameter. Near the waterfall is a big branched Chrey tree situated in the Sralao plantation.
The resort provides plenty of opportunities for picnicking, hiking, swimming, especially for visiting an ethnic village and purchasing some souvenirs beautifully produced by ethnic groups.

Chrey Yos Waterfall


The Chrey Yos Waterfall is located in Laoka Village, Sokhdom Commune and Pouloung Village, Romanea Commune, Sèn Monorom District; 6 km from the provincial town. It can be accessed by the red pebble path.
There are more than 328 families living in the Chrey Yos area of 250.403 ha, whose main occupations are farming.
This resort is managed by the provincial executive committee. It is partly supported financially by the DANIDA Organization of Denmark.
The resort is flanked by two streams, Trék having a size of 5 m during the rainy season and a size of 1.5 m during the dry season and Tra having a size of 4 m during the rainy season and a size of 1 m during the dry season.
